Early start this Saturday because of the very warm weather. Meet 08:30 Church Bridge, no café meet as Cats not open before 08:30, but coffee stop is only 22km away this morning. Heading out up Wyke towards Ditcheat, Wraxall, along the original chain gang route. Along the main road towards Glastonbury then turn off towards Wick and the coffee stop at  Middle Wick café and take in the fabulous views of the Mendips and of course Glastonbury Tor.

After coffee stop there are two routes home, a shorter route back via Godney, Street, Baltonsborough, for those wanting to avoid the heat. And for those who want to do a little bit more there is a longer loop around Sweets and back along the same route as the shorter route when you get back to Godney.

Likely to be 2 groups if there are enough riders, 22-24km/h, and 25-27km/h
