The IMBER Ride

Meet from 8.30am Hive Bruton for coffee, for a 9am depart, heading out via Druly then the gentle roll all the way down through Longbridge Deverill before skirting the back of Warminster to head out to Imber, a deserted village in the middle of the Imber Ranges.

The Imber ranges are open to the public on specific weekends in the year, and this bank holiday is one of those. The Church in the village will be open for basic refreshments, we don’t have to stop there for our refuel though, and can turn tail for Warminster for one of several cafes there.

Route home via Longleat, and Witham Friary. 83km (51 miles) with 1000m climb.

Pace 13-15mph, no drop ride, but we may end up in groups of similar ability if there are large numbers turning out for this ride.

Please download the STRAVA ROUTE HERE to your GPS if possible.
