On 19th September the committee of the Sherborne Voluntary Ambulance are holding a Sportive over 2 distances starting at Sherborne School - 33miles or 63miles, both with a lot of climbs. Entry is £20 with all donations going to the Sherborne Voluntary ambulance; a 17 seater minibus especially adapted for disabled and wheelchair access, that is in daily use transporting the elderly , disabled and learning disabled to lunch clubs, on excursions , and friendship groups - it provides a vital source of social interaction for the more lonely and vulnerable in our community of Sherborne and surrounding area.
