Meet from 8.30am at Burnt Honey, Castle Cary, for a 9am depart. Out via Galhampton, Cadbury’s, Beacon Lane and fast road to Sherborne. Onto Longburton, Bailey Ridge, Lions Gate, whiz down to Cerne Abbas, and over to the next valley to drop down to Grimstone, cross A35 and climb the back of Hardy’s Monument. Roll into Dorchester for refuel (FINCA Poundbury likely) then return leg via Piddle Valley, Longburton, Poyntington, Corton Denham, Cadbury’s and back to Cary.
