Meet from 8.45am Burnt Honey, Pither's Yard in Cary for coffee, 9am roll out. Up past the Newt, main road as far as the R turn to Holton, onto Charlton Horethorne, Milborne Port, Haydon/Goat Hill. Then into the real Dorset lanes through the Ansteys, and Milborne St Andrew. Heading west to Tincleton, and up to Hardy’s Cottage for refuel. Return leg via Charminster and the whizzy A road up through Cerne Abbas, turning L at Lions Gate. Onto Sherborne (Bean Shot stop if you make it before 1pm), then directly north out of Sherbs through Corton Denham, the Cadburys and back to Cary.
