Cycle of Good

Stop your inner tubes from going to landfill

Every year tens of millions of inner tubes go straight into landfill in the UK. Unlike the car industry's regulations on tyre recycling, the bicycle trade has no such policy, and waste tyres and tubes go in the bin.

For the cost of a postage, we can send your old tubes to the Cycle of Good charity at:
Krizevac Project
Atlas Works
Paragon Road
Longton
Stoke-on-Trent
ST3 1NR

We can also drop your tubes off to the Rapha Archive store in Shepton Mallet and the Cycle Surgery in Bristol. And we’re going to ask the Bean Shot team if we could have a recycle box at the cafe so you can bring your tubes in on a Saturday morning.

The old inner tubes are then sent to Malawi where they are turned into quality handcrafted goods. Cycle of Good train tailors in the world’s poorest places so they can earn a decent living and support their families. That’s why it’s called the Cycle of Good!
