Coffee with the Bishop, then off to the Castle

Coffee with the Bishop, then off to the Castle

Busy weekend - blessed by good weather, after a mank week. 12 rode up to Wells on Saturday, thanks Dr L for the mud spattered route there, and to Mr M for the delight of Stickleball Hill on the way back. Mr PB got his meat fix for the week and there were too many Finbar Saunders jokes for normal decency.

Sunday morning found 5 mighty BCC riders on Church Bridge at 8.30am, 4 spent some time chasing Mr C, who they hoped would have been tired after 80 miles with Super Mr S yesterday - they were mistaken! Good to see Corfe Castle roll into view, a leisurely stop, then onto climb up to the Lulworth Ranges, and over to the Piddle Valley for the push to home. A good 105 miles, and a good 27+ kmph. Chapeau to all who rode.
