Loafing about in Wells

Loafing about in Wells

Brilliant turn out at OnTheBrook, Bruton today for the ride out to Wells, with 12 riders and 2 team mates who turned up for the coffee. It was also great to see two new members, Dave and Graham along and a big warm welcome back to Jess.

The 30-35 mile ride to Wells was super in the warm late spring sunshine and very little wind, giving us a good speed to the coffee stop, at the Loaf Bakehouse in Wells. Here the might BCC enjoyed the delightful coffee and cakes along with a couple of hearty bacon sandwiches.

We then made our way back to Bruton which was going so well until some mad fool (yes it was me PeterT) decided to encourage the group to go home via Stickle Ball lane. We needed to burn of the calories enjoyed at the Loaf Bakehouse, so we certainly achieved that.

We then headed back to Bruton dropping off Jerry, Alex, & Steve first then SimonB and Keith as they made their respective journeys home. Another great ride completed.
