Is it really June?

Is it really June?

Great to see 10 at On the Brook Saturday morning, along with Farmer Rich for coffee. Bit soggy as we headed out through Wyke, Ditcheat and round the back of Glasto Tor for our route out to Sweets - surprised at how many BCC had never been there. Full of cycling types as expected, big mugs of coffee and slabs of cake consumed before the push back through Glasto and then onto some virgin lanes for many thanks to Mr JG.

Sunday - alternative meet outside the QA in Corton Denham, where 4 lambs convened to Mr T’s slaughter fest on the hills out to Beaminster, Broadwindsor, Forde Abbey, Cricket St Thomas then curled round through what were more farm track than road for fuel at The Feed Station in Merriott. The head wind and hills had held us back a bit so a bit of sprint/TT style blasting back home. Lucky not to have to don a rain jacket at any point. Chapeau to Mr DC - his longest and hilliest ride with BCC, having last done a ride of this distance/elevation many many yrs ago.
