Windy Langport, awesome BBQ and Dorset Valleys

Windy Langport, awesome BBQ and Dorset Valleys

A good group gathered at On the Brook for coffee under ominous skies on Saturday morning, but thankfully only a few spots of rain, and just a strong headwind to contend with on our way out to Langport - to tackle some High Ham Hills before our nosh. 2 separate groups headed back with a good push in the breeze - great morning to be out.

A big hand to Mr and Mrs B for their enormous hospitality in hosting a BBQ on Saturday evening for all the gang with great views of Alfreds Tower, Sunshine, awesome fire, drinks, food, banging tunes etc etc etc. Same time next year!!!!

Consequently only 3 BCC riders made it out Sunday morning, Dr L and Mr T interloped into Dorset with their mates S&S to find some delightful Dorset valleys, and happened across Mr JG in his Bruton kit, watching scrambling (on those noisy motor powered 2 wheel things) on his way down to Quiddles. Sun shone, wind was light, another great day to be out on the road.

Is it really June?
