Relaxed summer riding

13 rode out on Saturday morning up our favourite Druly Hill, and over to Mere and Motcombe through some lovely scenery and sunshine. Great welcome at The Ugly Duckling Cafe in Shaftesbury with very attentive service, and massive cake portions - lots of positive comments from club riders. Split pack for the route home as we all headed back to our Saturday chores. 3 Mighty BCC departed Church Bridge on Sunday morning; consensus was taken and we headed to Langport rather than Priddy - Flat yes, relaxed NO… Lots of chain gang sections, hill climb over High Ham, and shooting the Podimore Roundabout on the way home to add to the fun. Chapeau to Mr W and Mr CP for leading the train with Dr L hanging on at the back!
