Icy blast to Langport

3 hardy (read MAD) souls met at Church Bridge this morning, and backed out of riding to Cheddar, opting for the lesser ice risk of main roads out to Langport. Mr RM managed to stay upright all the way there and back - always a bonus. Alas - not a Langport/Kitchen Bun in sight, but the bacon sarnies were enormous, and there was more than enough fuel on board for the journey back. Back lanes were passable on the return, and we could feel our hands and feet again as it was at least 5 degrees warmer than when we set out. Next sunday will be warm and wet….
