Walled Gardens, Harbours and Tailwinds

Walled Gardens, Harbours and Tailwinds

10 headed up to the beautiful Walled Garden at Mells this Saturday, road conditions good but Mr M still managed to puncture. Very sociable coffee stop, getting to know a potential new recruit JP and returning rider Mr KL. Then Sunday, a Magnificent (Mighty) BCC 7 met on Church Bridge, and blasted off to the Levels via Somerton and Langport - a few wrong turns beyond Enmore meant a visit to Hinkley Point, where the builders were busy constructing, then found the A39 and headed onto Watchet. Good Cafe stop - fish finger sandwiches consumed a plenty… Headwinds out, Tailwinds home so the sprightly blasted back again, the less sprightly rolled home, but all did 110-120 miles, high average speeds, and only 2 punctures today. Chapeau to Mr SC for his longest ride to date.
